One inch closer to Linux

After having some mild success with gtkpod with my iPod, a good friend (ok, my boss) recommended Floola to me for an iTunes substitute on Linux. It’s friggin nice! Simple to install and run on Linux (Ubuntu 7.04 right now). In reference to my Linux wishlist, this strikes one very crucial item off the list. I tested with my daughter’s Nano, and my 30gb #446 black model video iPod. Nice. Even does RSS-fed podcast subscriptions. Auto-catch-up also.

Next on my list is something to replace Newsbin Pro, and NeroVision 7.5+.

Then printing (HP PSC 1315 “all-in-one” printer, connected via LAN on a Vista host).

I also hit Gnome-Look.org and downloaded the LiNsta theme (clone of Vista). I’m getting stoked again.
