Another panorama of something that doesn’t need to be on panorama… The directTV remote control. Sirius fails again… They release the iPhone app, only to not add the content that would actually sell more subscriptions… There is no Howard 100 or Howard 101 available. Sirius FAILS again… We went up to the Eastern Shore town of Wachapreague (twice) to watch the attempted launch of the TacSat-3 satellite, from Wallops Island. The first night it was only the iPhone for data on the launch, I usually have pretty good coverage passing through on the road about 5 miles West of the town, what [...] Well what the screen, that is now using even more power then when just sleeping, says is; battery full please unplug charger to save energy. Kind of seems real stoopid to make the device use more power, by lighting up the screen, to tell the user to save power… I guess it’s one of those [...] |
