God almighty. If you’re reading this, you might as well jump off a bridge. I typically discuss software technology and business and legal implications of technology and marketing (or the failures thereof). Sound interesting? You need help. Seriously.

I can't officially advocate any products on behalf of my employer. However, I still stand behind my statement that DWF has never proven to be useful in any production environment I've seen. I manage almost 500 AutoCAD licenses across 22 locations in the US and deal with other customers (some larger, some smaller) and vendors. Not one uses DWF as much as PDF or simply DWG through a viewer of some sort. I would like to see some improvements made to AutoVue, but I'm not sure the current owner would be willing to invest in them without jacking the price up too high for our budgets.

Hi SkatterBrainZ. I was interested to see your reply at http://worldcadaccess.typepad.com/blog/2007/04/free_free_free_.html
regarding AutoVue. As an employee of said company, I was delighted to read your comments. Thank you very much for being an advocate, and indeed hope this is still the case. If you would be interested in allowing me share this comment with other people I would dearly love to hear from you. Many thanks
Julian
